It's Real

Stormy day today. Lots of rain and then, literally the clouds parted and the most amazing rainbow appeared. I skidded into the backyard to try and capture it, which is almost never as impressive as the real thing. By the time I climbed up on the roof, it was fading. A full rainbow across Los Angeles.

Up on The Roof

One of my favorite activities is to go on a photo safari--hunting for images that exist right before our very eyes. A drive out to Chino Hills, revealed this brand new, empty parking lot. So fresh, there were not any oil stains to be seen. The concrete is so white, it's almost causing a glare. It was freaky to be in this giant structure without a single human to be found.
